Issue 1: Welcome to The Fetch 💯

Week of March 29, 2020

Welcome to the first issue of the global edition of The Fetch. 👋

First up, in terms of the global health crisis, our thoughts go out to everyone on the frontline: doctors, nurses, health workers, supermarket staff, carers, and all the other incredible people doing what they can to save lives each day. We’re indebted to you. 🙏

Secondly, COVID-19 has been a catalyst for the rise of online events. (If you’re 7 or 70 – you might find you’re now a power use of Zoom!) With this rise, comes a need for a curated guide and that’s where The Fetch comes in again.

Finally, while filling your calendar with online events may seem trivial in times like these: we find maintaining a schedule and making plans is something that keeps us going and continuing on as best we can in light of the situation. We also hope to continue publishing well beyond the current pandemic. 👌
